Her Story:
I had been living in Utah for 5 years and decided it was time to make a change. I was planning to move to Arizona, but I wanted to move back home to Las Vegas first. I was only planning to be in Las Vegas for a few months. One week after I moved home, my church singles ward had an activity in my parents backyard. I spotted a tall, dark, and handsome boy and had my eye on him that night. I was playing volleyball and he walked over to watch because one of his friends was playing. He joined the game and we chatted a little bit. That was pretty much all that happened that night. He actually was there with a girl and I wasn’t sure if they were dating or what the deal was. The next day was Sunday so I had church and saw him there. Again, I had my eye on him. I thought he was so cute! He showed up with the same girl, so I again was confused if they were dating or not. He ended up approaching me in the hallway after church and we started talking. He asked me why I had stopped playing in the volleyball game and I said that it was because it was at my house and I felt like I needed to entertain people.
Remember how I am a twin? All he knew was that the party was at “so and so’s girlfriend’s house”. At the time my twin sister, Tami, had a boyfriend. I had just moved to town, so he didn’t realize that there were 2 of us who lived at that house. So, from that conversation, he thought that I had a boyfriend and I still wasn’t sure if he was dating that girl I kept seeing him with. Luckily, I again saw him the following day at a church activity (Las Vegas 51’s baseball game). I showed up to the game with my sister and her boyfriend, so he realized that it wasn’t me that had the boyfriend. He invited me to watch The Bachelor at his sister’s house. Yes, the girl I kept seeing him with was his sister! He got my number that night! Wahoo!
His Story:
My sister invited me to go to a party, but I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to go. I went anyways and I am glad I did! I met a beautiful girl there while playing volleyball, but she left the game early. The next day at church I saw her again and started talking to her in the hallway and left the conversation thinking that she had a boyfriend. The next day I went to the church activity with my sister and again saw the beautiful girl and realized that she was a twin and that she actually didn’t have a boyfriend. I invited her over and got her number that night!

Her Story:
I woke up that November day in Provo, UT thinking it was going to be normal Sunday. I got dressed and I went to church early because I was asked to be the congregation chorister. I stood in front of the congregation a couple of times to lead the hymns. Later in the church service, I looked to my left and saw the most handsome man in a suit! I thought to myself “that guy is so good looking, but I doubt I will get to meet him.” Church ended and I went back to my house with my roommates. Later that day, I get a text from a guy friend from church asking me if I wanted to come over and hang out. I had no other plans, so I said ok. I get to my friends house, and lo and behold, the handsome guy from church was also hanging out at his house! It was my lucky day. Me and the hott stranger began talking and I realized that we had alot in common: We were both born and raised in Las Vegas, our parents were both from Red Wood City, we both loved the Forty-Niners, we both liked to snowboard, etc. All of us ended up going to a dessert party together that night and before we parted ways at the end of the evening, he asked for my phone number! That day I had also learned that he was currently living in Las Vegas, so I did not get my hopes up in ever seeing him again…………but I was completely wrong 😉
His Story:
I drove up to Provo, UT to hang out with some buddies for the weekend. Sunday came and I went to church with my friend. During church I noticed a beautiful girl leading the music. I leaned over to my friend and asked, “who is that?” He said that her name was Tami, she was cool, and she was from Las Vegas too. After church ended, I asked my buddy to text Tami and ask her to come over and hang out. We had a great conversation and I got to know some cool things about her. I loved her personality and I thought that she was so pretty. Later that night I asked for her phone number, crossing my fingers that I would see her again, even though we lived in different states.

Her Story:
I was playing college volleyball at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. My teammate told me that she wanted to set me up with this guy that was just about to get home from his mission. She said that he was way cute and on the baseball team. I told her that I would have to think about it because I just got out of a relationship and wasn’t sure I wanted to go on a blind date. A couple months later when the new semester started, there was this really cute boy in my class and I figured out he was on the baseball team (that’s always a plus!) I told my teammate that I thought he was super cute and she got really excited because it turned out to be the same boy that she wanted to set me up with all along. One thing led to another and we had our first date!
His Story:
I had just gotten off a church mission from Lithuania and was about a week late for the new semester. My dad had planned my schedule for the year and when I saw that I had an “Ethics and Values” class, I was not very happy about it. The first day, I go into class I noticed a really pretty girl sitting in the front row. I asked one of my baseball teammates who was in the class with me who she was, and he told me that her name was Patti and that she was on the volleyball team. About a week later I had heard from my teammate that she thought I was cute, but that she was hanging out with another guy on my baseball team – so I told him that I couldn’t ask her out. A couple weeks later, we saw each other at the temple and got to talking. I realized that she was no longer seeing my teammate and I asked her out on a date. On our first date I had picked her up from a volleyball function. I thought she wasn’t interested in me because she was dressed up in her volleyball sweats and it made me think that it may have been a pity date (a couple years later I found out that wearing her volleyball sweats was mandatory for the volleyball function.) It was history after that!
